Our 23rd Anniversary Recap

Post Published:

Yesterday was our (hubby and me) 23rd Anniversary. Wow doesn’t time fly by?!!!

We went to Red Hare brewery in the afternoon, our first visit there. It was their 4th Anniversary Celebration.

The image below is part of a mural on one wall inside the brewery, Oktoberfest image.

{I had to vignette it because some person popped into my camera frame as I snapped it.]

Below are the 4th Anniversary Pint glasses, showing each side,  and inside was Red Hare Brewing Company’s Watership Brown Ale.

There was a huge crowd there, I mean, tight. It was impossible to get any other pictures without tons of people in them. I tend to take pictures of things, not so much people.

The site was replete with Red Hare images and oh how I love that red rabbit! It’s so perfect, just fits with my personality.

I had Cottontail Pale Ale, Gangway IPA, and Watership Brown Ale.

Hubby had Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest 2x and Watership Brown Ale.

The IPA wasn’t really my thing, but both the Pale Ale and Brown Ale, were everyday drinking kind of beers. Those I can add to my repertoire happily.

I got a Watership Brown Ale shirt too. You can buy Tees on their website, but in the actual brick store they have ladies v-neck tees … not on website. 🙂

This is the image on the back of the brown shirt

A Bomber of  Sticky Stout was part of the ticket, to bring home. It was there on draught but I didn’t get to it, three was enough. (It’s in glass how we got it. I prefer glass over cans, in fact I haven’t drank canned crap on purpose for years. Glass or draught, not little cans ever.)

Afterward we went to Outback Steakhouse, showing below was the Bloomin Onion, after it was attacked, of course. I love this thing. I love the sauce, my husband, isn’t very fond of the appetizer, hates the sauce. Oh well.

We had dinner, steak, etc. Nothing to write about really. [Steak prices go up and up… it wasn’t as good as it cost. 🙁 ]

Later on we went to theatre and saw The Man from U.N.C.L.E. It was a good movie, stylized nicely, kept me involved, but in the end it was a good movie, just not, you know, the most exciting thing ever to me. It was enjoyable. Go see it if you want, or wait, can’t say it matters to you or not.

I’m also promised a Wii-U, but won’t be getting it until mid-September.

All in all, a really nice day.

Happy Anniversary Frankie!
