• Plants are doing their thing

I’ve not posted much here lately. I’ve been preoccupied with some things … and just not thinking of anything to write. It’s now Spring here where we live. Warm temperatures in the day, and above Freezing at night-time. The weeds are all growing. And “real” plants too. Trees are budding. Just the beginning of budding,…

  • Doug Wilson Page. Christkirk.com changed

Doug Wilson Page. Christkirk.com changed the url of the index page for the “controversy” documents. I’ll go back and change the links below sometime. Just popping this in here in case anyone clicks a link below and says “where is it!” or something.

      Dear Mr. Wilson,

I have read the Credenda addition on Roman Catholicism. I wanted to get from you if I could the sources from which you have the quotes on the page, “Quotations on Authority”. This is from the edition Volume 12/Number 1 of Credenda.

If you could get all the exact sources for all of these quotes that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all of your research and study of the faith.

      God Bless you,
      Monica Wieck

      Monica,

This is not Doug Wilson’s site. This is not a site about Doug Wilson, per se. This is my personal blog. I have written about Doug Wilson quite a few times, and linked to his stuff, regarding controversial things.

You’ll have to go to Credenda Agenda and file your comments, if you want someone from there to see them.

  • Wisdom, Doug Wilson: what “brand” does he have?

Here’s the next round of stuff from Doug Wilson: Giving Offense – Amended; and A Short Credo to Help the Heresy Hunt Along. The “amended” version of “Giving Offense” has 4 new points tacked onto the bottom, as well as a “thanks” for the help of James Jordan with some of it. It’d be one…

  • Orthodusty – China Figurines and Dusty Presbyterians?

Search Google for “Orthodusty” and what comes up? This blog, and a few other blogs, and a couple of Doug Wilson things. This is one, an article from Volume 10:2 of Credenda Agenda:www.credenda.org/issues/10-2presbyterion.php So when was Volume 10 out? Somewhere around 1998 as far as I can figure. So is he calling some congregations, in…

  • Doug Wilson again … more hits the web

Doug Wilson has been very busy He has an ammended version of A Short Credo on Heresy, a new credo: A Short Credo on Giving Offense, and finally something called Presbyterian Fables. Ah, the “Fables” are a new turn to enlightening us all as to what he’s talking about. Yes, he believes he’s right and…

Doug Wilson’s church is falling, and I’m going to need assistance in helping members of his church move away from that twisted theology of his.

Please e-mail me if you would like to contribute to a newsletter to his church members, after the church falls.

      Thanks.

      In Christ,

I think it is funny that the only other person to respond to the above blog is Douglas Stambler! Do a google search on that name and see the joke – He is a prophet! Really, just ask him…. or google.

  • Here’s why I don’t like Blogger: When I’m Hyper Focusing …

I do not like BLOGGER. For people that hyper focus it’s a real let down. Why? Oh you type and type in a great topic, fingers flying, and you hit “POST”. Well, you think you do. What button did you hit? I don’t know, it just wasn’t the one to get this post posted. Gone…

  • Doug Wilson’s “Short Credo” roll

So, Mr. Doug Wilson of Christ’s Church in Moscow, Idaho has a new Credo. Another one, that is, about 6 or so to date. This last one is the most embarrassing of them all. He’s making things worse for himself. I nearly feel sorry for him. But really I don’t. I just feel plain embarrassed…

  • It’s January, the January Dull …

When something is dull, I call it “January Dull”. Why? Just look outside most any day this month, if you are in the more Northern half of the hemisphere, and you may understand. Of any month in the year, this one is grey and blah. The holidays are over. It’s the FIRST full month of…

  • A New Year

A new year has begun. I’m making turkey stock. That’s my big New Year’s Day event. It’s lingering into the day after that too. Making stock right means long simmers, and using good ingredients. Nourishing Traditions has good recipes for whole eating. That’s where the stock recipe I’m using comes from. [Here’s an article online…

  • December

I love December. Such promise and glow abound. Today is the first day of the month. It was cold here in the South. Great way to start the month that Winter begins in. Now, the cold was around freezing and up to the mid 40-s for the high. We were in Michigan the week of…
