I have a LEGO Train, no power functions yet, and no track yet. I would like to get all of that, to have a decent layout. But …

Lego don’t have any good track in their shop at home store, there is some on eBay for WAY TOO MUCH MONEY! It was $15.99 at one time in the store, now it’s not there, and on eBay it’s way above, from $50 on up, mostly, auctions sometimes a little lower, or a lot more, and buy-it-now up and up and up. It’s way too steep for me, and LEGO really should put that package back into the store.

I do not want to, nor will I do so, make a track with “flexible track” only. That’s my option right now. Thus I have none and see no time in the future that I can get any.

It’s frustrating. LEGO 10194 Emerald Night is a great looking train, and I want to run it around a track, but there is no reason to even get power functions for it when there is no good track to be had. I suppose I should get them anyhow, just in case they stop stocking the power functions I need.

I am so frustrated with stuff. Everything seems so “bad” yet … it shouldn’t. It’s not anything but misery with getting things done, allergies, more misery that finally goes away only to find negative numbers in bank account, trying to get things straightened out not working, makes me feel like life is dull grey, though I’m not depressed. I’m mad.

Trying to move to a new bank. It’s difficult, takes time, as everyone everywhere knows. I have enough patience, but it’s trying to jump through the hoops in the right order, arranging the hoops for special easier jumping too, and doing it, then hitting failure on the other side of the wall, not the new side, the old side.

Ugh.

I’m just in a never ending waiting pattern, it seems like. “Wasting my time, in the waiting line …” that song goes through my head so often.

Plans for what to do and make things work and when to this or that are all flat now. Thanksgiving is coming, my daughter’s birthday the day after that, then a month until Christmas. I was OK with it all until today. Now it’s totally messed up. AUGH!!!!!!!

I have books to read. I had books to read which I still haven’t. I have newer books to read too. I started to read one recently (A Dance With Dragons) but didn’t go very far in (yet.) I haven’t sat to read any book nearly all summer long, which is odd for me of late. Anyhow I can read, I can read, I can read. I know how to read. I just need to do it sometimes. I mean READ a BOOK from front to back, cover to cover.

Oh wait, I did read a book the first Harry Dresden book. There. That’s something. (I’d like to get the rest of the series, I bet I would read them all very fast if I could get my hands on them.)

There’s a new Scott Harvath book out. My hubby bought the digital nook book. I like hardback paper though. He said I could get it, but hasn’t done so for me yet … I’m not sure about doing it, as much as I kind of want to. I just don’t know.

There are a couple of books coming out really soon: My two most favorite characters .. Virgil Flowers and Jack Reacher. Those I have to pre-order and have them on my doorstep the day of release, but those I will read ASAP, like that very moment I open the box (if I can.) Update 9-9-2011 9:00am: [Just pre-ordered The Affair (Jack Reacher #16) by Lee Child] [Just pre-ordered Shockwave (Virgil Flowers #5) by John Sanford]

Our house has A/C now, not quite getting how it works (the upstairs is getting too warm every day, no matter what.) One thing was it was getting warmer and warmer and the A/C wasn’t coming on at all upstairs. So I ended up turning every thermostat to “off” and waited a minute, then only turned on the upstairs thermostat. Waited until it was ready and started cooling, let that run for a few minutes, looked at it, cooling, yes, blowing forcibly harder in all the rooms than it normally does.

Then I turned the main floor thermostat on. I left the downstairs thermostat off over night. The upstairs cooled down overnight. The next morning I turned the downstairs thermostat on.

That day it stayed cool upstairs, until early mid afternoon, the master bedroom started climing faster than I had hoped for, but then leveled out at 73 degrees. Cooled down at night, then the next day it got to 76 degrees.

It’s a puzzle that I can’t solve. Digital Zones. Ugh.

My kitchen gets a high heat load from cooking and the sun hitting the back of the house all day, but the sun effect is lessened via trees there.

My master suite gets blasted from the sun hitting the back of the house all day.

There’s the glitch.

There ain’t no fix.

Unless it’s understandable to our HVAC guys and there is a solution.

I’d be happy if the upstairs got to 69 or 70 for a high, but it’s not that it is, it’s going well above, and staying there until 3am when it mostly starts going the other direction .

I’ve tried keeping it set at a higher temp, that doesn’t work so well. I’ll try it again today. See what really happens.

Frustrated Google Android User awaiting being dubbed valid user for Music Beta.

This wait feels as long as the "Palm Pre will get Audible.com app soon … " thing (which it never did the 16+months I had one.)

Google Music teased for a long time, even before I had an Android phone. Since I got one September 2010 the marketplace for it seemed to ramp up, not just my interest.

Please let me have an invitation Google. I don’t like the other cloud music options (tried mspot, that was ridiculous! I won’t go further into that topic) nor having to connect my phone to my laptop or computer ever again to "transfer music".

For instance, I have some on my phone, waiting and waiting wasn’t friendly to me. I considered using my HTC Evo to be my music player for real, ditching my Sansa e280.

Mother’s Day I got a SoundBlade. So now Google would be my best friend if they’d let me upload my music from my computer "automatically" and be able to get it on my device seemlessly troublefree.

New Duran Duran album is on my computer. It’s not on my phone, never will be untess Google gets me an invite. Or unless I end up forgetting about this whole thing and go back to the dark ages.
