Scrapbooking

Start .:. Current Update .:. January 6, 2014:

I haven’t done much with crafting, art, etc. this past year. I have such BIG intentions and that has all fallen *splat*

I’m dedicating this year to doing more with organizing, taking photos and doing something with them, scrapbooking past and present at least once a month, work on pencil drawing, painting, basic art techniques, make lots and lots of tags.

I made a December Daily sort of album in 2012 but didn’t really complete it, made a great book from Acrylic covers and Christmas papers, but the content … pictures from my phone, some printed, nothing good enough done with it all. It really is deflating.

I got a Tim Holtz Worn Cover for my December or Christmas book this year, got overwhelmed looking at the pockets and never did anything with it and hardly took any photos. A real bummer.

If I could turn back time.

You can see my scrapbooking pages on Flickr, as well as in my Gallery on ClubCK.

On Flickr I also have sets of Book & Albums, Tools and my December Daily project(s).

It’s a work in progress. All of it.

Photoshop Elements 8 14 is the photo program I use. Here are some templates for printing photos that I have made (.psd files – layers included)

(I mostly used these with photos from my HTC Evo devices using Retro Photo. They are shot in square sizes) and look great as one on a 4×6 piece of paper, but really great as smaller squares, and a 4×6 piece of paper can hold two photos easily.

I don’t like how photos print without these invisible frames, the borders aren’t even, it’s nuts, but these “frames” are magic, perfect once you get the picture how you want it.

Dec. 2018: Most photos I want to print with these templates are taken with my Samsung Note8. Zooming into part of the picture must be planned when taking a photo to get the most out of the square area.

Just click inside to load the file interface to look for the photo you want in each frame. Easy slide to zoom in or out (how much of the photo showing in the frame). You can use these frames as is, or change them any way you want. This is something you can make in PSE but it’s kind of convoluted, so I’m putting these files here for your ease of use.
