READ

This is a list that I started in 2009. Many books I’ve read since then are on here, but not all of them (some I forgot to list.) Also there have been times when I’m busy with other things and just haven’t read any books for weeks and weeks long. I’m trying to keep things updated since early 2011 since I re-started using LibraryThing.org (I got a lifetime membership in September 2005 when the site/service started up.) I can enter start and finish dates for reading books in my library there, and hadn’t done that before, so now that I am, I was able to at least have some dates added to the books which are below in my LibraryThing library, and keep up with it from now on.

Hoping to Finish:

Mansfield Park by Jane Austen (quit reading this years ago, hoping to pick it up sometime)

Currently Reading:

Prydain Chronicles: The High King by Lloyd Alexander re-read (haven’t finished it yet… just lost interest for awhile)

The Survivor – Kyle Mills [Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp] (NOTE 6-21-2017—I’ve not picked it up since reading the first couple of pages, though I liked it well enough when I did read those pages. No reason for not continuing past just not having the book open on my desk.)

Dresden Series by Jim Butcher
I have #8 and #9 to read: Proven Guilty and White Night, respectively.

[The latest Lucas Davenport or Virgil Flowers book by John Sandford]

[The latest Michael Bennett book by James Patterson]

I haven’t really read any books this year. Shocking, huh? It’s been a struggle to feel like reading for a few years now, other things to do, I have read SO MANY BOOKS already in my lifetime, if I’m not that interested … let it go.

Well, I do want to read something good, but getting INTO anything is the problem. I also have Audio books I can listen to, but don’t.

Music, Games, Movies. Music, Movies, Games. The orders that waffle around for me. Books, I love so many, but … it’s easier to not read books since it takes concentration and I get very into reading then can’t have ANY interruptions when I read so in a family, no wonder this is how I have gotten, no reading light, no place to read that is quiet. Amen.
