They are littermates. They are coming up in life and will soon be fullgrown cats. Their birthday is sometime in the next couple of months. We came upon them in a pet store, up for adoption in 2004.

The funny thing is, when we got them I knew they were special. They are blue, afterall. All things blue are special. Since I read Eragon and Eldest (see: Alagaesia), I have come to realize that these two are more special than I was aware of. My connection to them was natural. Now I know what it is: They are twin Werecats. They talk to me, one is more shy and retiring, the other quite forward and feisty. The first is a boy, the second is a girl. I haven’t seen them yet change to another form, but that is because of their past, no doubt, and their age most likely. They were born wild and then trapped with their mother and another littermate when they were in their early weeks of life, by some human. The change must have been an immense stress to them, so I’m now just waiting for them to blossom further as they get older.

Edit: December 18, 2006: We in our household were very dissapointed in the movie “Eragon” (2006) – NO WERECATS at all! We are quite upset. Hmph.

This is an Introduction Page for my two Werecats, Blueberry Bear and Bluebelle Spitfire. They are “Think Blue, Count Two” as inspired by a Cordwainer Smith story of that name. There must be something about that story and what transpires that is true about my Werecats, and I await the time when it will be revealed to me. I have no idea what this set of Twin Werecats is capable of, nor what form they will take, be it separate or together or both.

Think Blue, Count Two
November 2004

Posted on:

Thursday, September 22, 2005

There are two cats in my house whom go by the title “Think Blue, Count Two”.
