Yesterday was Christmas Day, and a hallmark day for our family. We went to the movies. First time ever on going on Christmas Day. Another first was that this was the first time our entire family went to the theatre together, and the first time any of the children had ever been to the theatre at all.<\/p>\n

This was the first time there was a movie that we considered worth taking the children to see. Our children are 7, 5, & 3. Each one was thrilled to go. Each one was thrilled after seeing it. What about the parents? Father liked it just fine. Mother wants to see it again, and again, and again …<\/p>\n

There are many good reviews “out there”, some mixed, some really plain sick ones. Find them linked at the link below. It’s kind of a Love\/Hate things, you love it, or you hate it. I just don’t get that stark difference in how some love it and call it as J.M.Barrie’s original goes, finally portrayed; or the opposite that it’s anything but good, and transverses far from the way it should, that it can’t be done better than 1924, for example, or the Disney version. [gag!]<\/p>\n

I’m seeing more good reviews than bad, I must say. My husband read me the top box office $makers on Christmas Day this morning from the paper, and Peter Pan, 2003 was #5 in that list. This is a movie for children, and that means children of any age. Find yourself again, watch Peter Pan with your heart opened. I’m revisiting the movie in the recesses of my mind, and want to see it again soon. This is a family flick, big time. But I’d love it in any case. It’s speaks to all of us, we all had to grow up at some point.<\/p>\n

Find the most eloquently spoken review out there, it speaks for me.<\/p>\n
