I have a few comments, or just one big one.

Of course they are right. Geneva Convention doesn’t apply at all. No war exists. Has Congress ever declared War as our Constitution spells out [in this current administration]? No.

Of course most all military activities of our government in the past “whatever amount” of years have been outside the bounds of the Constitution. I have a problem with that, but only in THIS case am I pointing out the problem I have with it, that they keep calling it “WAR”. You cannot have a “war” on something that isn’t a cohesive sovereign thing. “Terrorism” isn’t a country. Neither are “terrorists” something to declare “War” on. The US Congress can’t do that, and haven’t, so they and the rest of the government and media and people need to QUIT CALLING IT A WAR!

We aren’t at war.

Military activities heightened. Securities of this USA seem to be at high levels, but it’s just that it’s terrorism, not that we can wait for the planes or boats or foot soldiers to come to our borders and fight. It’s little things here and there and blah, blah, blah.

A Roach Analogy:

Lets just say it’s that we hate Roaches. So instead of figuring out how to secure the house from Roaches coming in, without keeping the true inhabitants of the house in house-arrest, we will go out and bomb the “known places of where roaches live Out There”. Knowing full well that “Out There” is where many roaches are, but so are other houses that are autonomous and must defend their own entries, and that some roaches are known to certainly be in large numbers in some other “out there” houses, but you can’t be sure that they are the same roaches that were in YOUR house, or that the ones in YOUR house are connected with them.

While that is going on, the ones in charge of the house decide that anyone coming in and out can’t be under suspicion for smuggling or having connections with the “roaches”, so freedoms at home are stripped afterall.

And meanwhile abroad “Out There” the roach hunting takes on a bigger scope and basically takes over and levels houses as they desire, since roaches are known to be in those houses, and the ones that own some of the houses are taking care of the roaches, or some are actually semi-privately breeding roaches.

That’s a War? [shaking head]

How about just protecting OUR borders. Keeping THIS house safe from roaches without stripping freedoms from the inhabitants.

America is over here and thinks it can police the world. It’s doing it.

It’d be nice if they would just keep to themselves, the government deciding to shrink itself. But no, it’s an Empire that is growing, building and spreading. It’s the duty of America to SPREAD DEMOCRACY! As if that the Gospel.

Well it’s not so different from the Necromongers in The Chronicles of Riddick. IMO.

Whatever happened to the CIA and the covert operations that took care of terrorist stuff?

Oh, that’s just the stuff of book novels and movies.

Carmon posted this at BackwaterReport.
