Going to the Rock Vegas Festival this coming weekend. It’ll be crazy, fun, maybe hot (dry heat at least?) … some of it outside, the main stage inside at night has the bigger bands. There are lots of bands that I want to hear some of, which are on the outside stage.<\/p>\n
I have some of the music from the bands that will be there. Mostly not though. I listen to Octane (XM 37) so I’m very familiar with most of them and am looking forward to it so much.<\/p>\n
One CD I got recently is Baroness “Yellow and Green” and I so much LOVE it! I first heard Take My Bones Away on Octane this Summer. By the 3rd listen I was hooked on it and started looking online about them. I was totally saddened when I heard about their accident, and made sure that next time I had extra money I’d find their latest in Best Buy or \u00a0Target. So I finally was able to do that the other week. Wow! Awesome. I’d love to hear their earlier stuff and also maybe get to see them live someday.<\/p>\n
So as to what I have, I have some Rob Zombie cd’s and Stone Sour’s, a Shinedown track (Her Name is Alice) and that’s about it. I love Godsmack’s music, Shinedown’s, and really like stuff from P.O.D., New Medicine, All That Remains, Otherwise, Staind, Buckcherry, Adelitas Way, Art of Dying,\u00a0… just for starters.<\/p>\n
I don’t know WHAT the Stone Sour thing is about at Rock Vegas, but they’ve changed it to say “Corey Taylor” … that’s great, fine, he’s awesome but what does it signify? WTF? Stone Sour not there? Whatever he sings, fine. I love anything he’d do (probably)<\/p>\n

Saturday will be awesome! Friday will be really good too. I don’t know any Fozzy or Mindset Evolution music. I’ve heard of them, but that’s it. Friday night is a good line-up. I know all of them. I don’t know everything, but I like everyone’s sound and style. On Saturday the only one I don’t like is Marilyn Manson.<\/p>\n
