Well, that was great, really great. Getting it to work again, not as great. I brought it home, put it on it’s hotsync cradle, the light was on the dock but, nothing going on otherwise. It was a new official dock, never used, bought on ebay in the past. So I figured a reset would work, but couldn’t find anything to use on the reset hole, next day I asked my daughter to drum up a pin and after that, back in business!<\/p>\n
I have an old desktop I’d built which ran Win XP, been sitting opened up in the basement, so it’s not very good, but I do need to clean it up and get it running, I may have files on it for the Palm, which would be great. I can’t sync to my Win 10 machine … no serial and I don’t want to anyhow. I want to run archaic with archaic. I have other reasons for a Win XP machine than just this.<\/p>\n
I have to find the cord to plug the computer in, it’s lost in the surroundings of the basement. Another problem then is a monitor, I can’t put it in my room with PS3, PS4, my Desktop computer, etc. No room nor do I want that. I have a cruddy LG 720p 32″ TV I could use somewhere else, but it doesn’t have dvi or vga inputs. I need an adapter. Hurrah. Another thing to have to get.<\/p>\n
I want this computer to be setup and accessible inside the house. Not necessarily networked, depends, may end up making it a printer server for a non network-able printer we have though. And so on it goes …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
