I hate these mystery updates from Samsung.<\/p>\n
I had a Google Nexus 5 before my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + … spoiled with their updates, I suppose.<\/p>\n
I just got another update, hope THIS one is Android 7. Everytime I hold out hope and it’s just an old Security Update finally arriving. If this is that, then the last one was only a month or so ago, and that was for September 2016, I think.<\/p>\n
Blech.<\/p>\n
All this reminds me of my poor Sony Z3 Compact Tablet, stuck forever more on Android 6.0.1, with an old Security Update forever.<\/p>\n
So now, the update is done on my S6, the verdict is in, Freaking February 2017 Security Update. WT…? \u00a0Security Updates have been few and far between and miles behind Google devices. Why a recent Security Update on February 28, 2017?<\/p>\n
I’m just waiting for Android 7 on this device. I have stopped searching for news on it. I’m tired of waiting, but waiting all the same. All Hope is Gone.<\/p>\n
