{"id":2929,"date":"2017-05-26T17:06:34","date_gmt":"2017-05-26T21:06:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hyperthinking.us\/weblog\/?p=2929"},"modified":"2017-05-26T17:06:34","modified_gmt":"2017-05-26T21:06:34","slug":"chrome-headers-footers-dont-print-so","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hyperthinking.us\/weblog\/2017\/05\/26\/chrome-headers-footers-dont-print-so\/","title":{"rendered":"Chrome Headers &#038; Footers don&#8217;t print, so&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have tried everything I could over the past year to get headers\/footers to print in Chrome on PC, and they just won&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>So today I downloaded Firefox JUST so I could load up a webpage and print what I want.<\/p>\n<p>Easy peasy out of the gate same content prints out full top and bottom with url and page numbers with not one whit of configure available in FF.<\/p>\n<p>Not only all the stuff comes out that I want, which doesn&#8217;t in Chrome, the FF page printing looks better, \u00a0Chrome has partial lines that orphan entire lines of text at the bottom. No amount of headers\/footers on or off, or margin changes would make anything print two pages or more without that problem. FF perfectly separates lines without that ghosty orphan cut off junk.<\/p>\n<p>Basically just works, and if it didn&#8217;t I&#8217;d have to find a brick wall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have tried everything I could over the past year to get headers\/footers to print in Chrome on PC, and they just won&#8217;t.
