I am using\/trying-out a new plugin called “rss-stream”. It’s linked on my “home page” sidebar with the Pages, titled “My RSS Stream”. <\/p>\n
It’s pretty neat, but I don’t like the ‘generic’ rss stuff, not having an easy way to change it to something precise, when you have “blogs” or “streams” that are outside of the basics that the plugin has hardcoded. Meaning: the rss link is easily input, but there is no way to change the icon right there on the admin page, or change the text titles for it there, at the least.<\/p>\n
So I’ll have to go into the plugin itself and edit it in some way to fit my desires, and I just don’t have the time right now, so it’ll exist there as is.<\/p>\n
It has my Flickr Photo Stream, Last.fm, Myspace, & my other regular blog “blog” rss streams listed, as well as my Last.fm “recent plays” … all as text links (like an article linking the title text; the music has title and artist info linked to the last.fm page about that track.)<\/p>\n
Unfortunately the last.fm journal entries have nothing denoting that they come from there save the actual link, as well as the Myspace blog, and my other regular blog. These are the “generic” things. I’ll get different icons ASAP at the least, for them.<\/p>\n
