I have Bluebirds in my backyard. They have four new babies, just hatched a few days ago. This is their first clutch of the season. They were fiddling around with their box since February, but held off on finalizing the nest and laying eggs until May.<\/p>\n<p>Interesting, since it was a warm, semi-early Spring. They knew better for themselves though, we&#8217;ve had weird weather since February, warm, then very cool, and very wet and cool. I guess this figured into their nesting desires somehow.<\/p>\n<p>The Cardinals that often come around are bringing their new babies with them. They are so cute, and approachable too, you can get a good look at one or two of the babies at a time, in the trees, with naked eyes even.<\/p>\n<p>This is the part of Spring that is nice. The bugs aren&#8217;t bad yet, but new baby birds are everywhere. When those bugs are bad, the baby birds will be bigger, and they&#8217;ll eat those bugs. It works out very nicely.
