My oven went nuts last evening. Preheated the oven for 20 min @370 degrees. Put the sourdough dinner rolls into the oven to bake… a few minutes later the eye of Sauron appeared with a bang and a flash coming first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve had ovens fail, but never like that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wish I had a recording of it, or could download it from my brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have to wait for a replacement, slow shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cheap 3rd party part would have come sooner and been way less expensive, no thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did get the rolls finished in the air fryer, in two batches. That worked out fine. Lower temp, just 7 minutes … brown and hot and baked to doneness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can’t bake a big bread loaf either. My bread pan fits diagonally in my air fryer, but that’s not going to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can make a round and will have to figure out alot of factors before doing that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t have a small Dutch oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
