Netflix? Still no Netflix. Not in the store, and can’t cast it successfully. Same old, same old.
Android TV 6.0.1 for Forge TV didn’t change that.
Vudu isn’t in the store either, still. It can be successfully cast, and was able to before sometimes, then not at all, and then again it was able to and just not a simple cast, it’s trial and error.
Android TV 6.0.1 for Forge TV didn’t change that.
Another item that should be available now is in Storage, an external drive, adaptable storage, should be supported, but isn’t.
Android TV 6.0.1 for Forge TV didn’t change that.
There’s Netflix and Vudu and adaptable storage on Sony Marshmallow Android TV 2016 on the 49x800D we now have. Our 2015 Sony’s are still on 5.1.1 but do run the two apps, and that’s the stickiest part of it, no Netflix and no Vudu native on Forge TV is what the problem is for me and the dumb tv I use it on.
This is a thing because I want native apps and a small footprint device …Forge TV may not have promised what I fully want, but it was intimated and still not implemented. This small device is only a tad more useful than using a Chrome stick, yet not as good as that, but that’s not what I want to do anyhow. I want to natively play movies and shows. The myriad of apps and media on Forge TV makes no difference.
