The Cure – 2023 – ATL beforehand

My hubby and I are going to see The Cure on June 27, 2023, which is tomorrow night, in ATL. Songs of a Lost World Tour.

In 2016 we saw them in ATL as well. It was a summer day, hot, not too hot per se, but all those people, it was sweltering heat that grew and grew until midway through The Cure’s set, I barely sat down before saying night-night (groggy blackout the rest of the concert.) Let’s just say, I DON’T want to repeat that.

I am very sensitive to heat. Just a little can send me overboard fast.

The 2023 ATL concert is at State Farm Arena, we have nose bleed seats on the right of the stage.

Heat, Sun, People —– at the least I hope I can see something from there.

Sound will be loud and spread around fine. Screens are who knows where, not me, I don’t know that I’ve ever been to this venue for a concert.

I’m not sure what I’ll dress like. I have a straw hat that looks good with my current hair (long, curly, weird) so from there, a 2016 cure tour shirt over black leggings and sneakers. I don’t have the kind of sneakers that would look good that way, just clunky sports sneakers. Or another shirt. I don’t have much more than winter stuff or band shirts anymore.

We’ll see what I turn up.
