Preparing for the Lord’s Day
Today we must prepare for attending Worship and fellowship on the Lord’s Day. The first Sunday of each month we have a long day at church. Normal morning service, dinner on the grounds, then another service, and then home for the rest of the day.
I’m in the process of making bread, so I’ll take a loaf of freshly made Whole Wheat bread, and probably Roast Beef (in the crock pot), with gravy, and Buttered Jasmine Rice tomorrow.
Preparing for the Lord’s Day so often is a busy time, doing this and that to get our things ready. There is a need to get our minds and spirits in one accord though, and make sure we have our best presented to God, internally and externally. For who do we go to worship? God. God can see me, I just can’t see God. God can see inside of me, others cannot. To remember that God is everywhere, is something we’d all do well to remember.
