Our dear new kitty has an ouie. Something, or someone, did something. His front left paw/leg is hurting him, he’s limping and not happy about us touching it. And sleeping alot more than usual. It doesn’t feel broken, he’s able to move it around, just isn’t using it, and also has been listless mostly.
He’s had a good nap on my bed this afternoon, and three session of mild interest in a string resulted in more nap, then me and him had a great tummy tickling session, and his old eyes lit up and he was wrestling with my hand. What a great sight to see. He’s a sweetie.
I’ve half-way gotten his name: Foster. After Stephen Foster, of course. Perhaps we’ll keep it, maybe we’ll add something to it, or just come up with something entirely new. It’s in the right vein, something Southern is what I’m looking for.
Samantha, Princess, Cinnamon, Strider, Dixie Blossom, and Scarlet are his cat family. He needs a name to fit in with theirs. Rhet Butler it won’t be. Joke away, that’s fine, just know it won’t be Ashley either 😉
We call him “little kitty” or “little squirt” usually. So he’s not destitute of a name, just doesn’t have a nice “Formal” name.
