Blessings to y’all. Hope this year is filled with love for you and your kin and friends, as well as to and from Our Lord Jesus Christ.
My Dh gave me the Bruckner CD-set last week, which I wrote about then, and today I got a few cards [from hubby and our little lambs] and also now have chocolate coming out of my ears [not literally, of course, just that it’s seemingly so that way] as well as the Hallmark Michael Bublé CD “With Love” that they are carrying and offering for 7.95 with the purchase of 3 cards [I had seen a commercial for it on TV and alerted DH that it would be nice to do that for me, but wasn’t certain he had, until today.]
I got that CD ripped into my computer pronto and have listened to it, it is redundant on a few tracks, with what I previously had of Michael Bublé, but the point is not that, but to have a CD with moreso Love Songs on it, and also collect Bublé things to some degree, which I am doing, only to a degree of some point that I do not know.
My hubby is away today, planned trip without realizing what day it fell on. Truly a –> <– event!
I gave the children each a little heart box with some chocolates in it, and picked out some nice stickers [on sheets] for each of them as well. I have my one and only candy dish filled with Necco Tart Conversation Hearts.
I’ve made a playlist of my new CD, as well as many other songs which either have Love in the title or somehow popped out at me as fitting for a Love theme playlist. It’s an odd mix together, standards, goth/punk, metal/hard rock, but it works, for today.
Most days I am an “album” listener. At least stylistically an “artist” listener, I do mix albums into a playlist, usually just one artist, or two similar artists, or something that makes sense to me. Today’s playlist isn’t like my normal usage of playlists, we’ll see if I can listen more than just one run through. 🙂
