House getting better

Our house was built in 1997. We moved into it new.

The Windows Were Junk.

Not good, and the screens weren’t easily replaced, so we have no screens for many years on most windows, and broken vinyl frames inside, and a few broken windows (double pane inside panes broken.)

All sorts of things that needed fixed.

In with the new and improved

Next week, fingers crossed, we are getting a new triple pane low-e window installed in every spot that needs a window.

We’ll have custom grilles to divide each window with a + raised profile, not only inside between panes. I hope it works out well.

We are also getting a new door to our recently built deck, so then we can go from kitchen to deck easily.

After that we’ll get new siding and paint (new color!), so all in all, better off for Winter and the following Summer.

Siding is what will help the back of the house, and then a few things to do with the deck, like get that overflow somehow dealt with …. just in case …. and then a get lattice piece there and around the other sides too.

We have box steps off the corner, kind of custom done not so good, basically wanted box steps all around the lower deck, maybe we can get it done, or not, don’t know.
