I seem not to have written about Stryper on this blog. So here is a post about Stryper. See my Page (on the sidebar) about their November 3rd (2005) concert in Atlanta, GA.
My husband and I went together. I saw them many years ago in the mid-80’s. I’ve long considered them one of my all-time favorite bands, one which I can remember a time when I didn’t know them, but can’t remember when I started to like them, that I didn’t one day and did the next. I know I didn’t “grow” into it though. I just don’t have a distinct memory it’s like, loving someone, knowing that you didn’t know them before in your life, but that you can’t imagine that you were ever without them they are so much a part of you they blend into your childhood for you.
Stryper is this for their music, and their dedication to God. They point the glory to Him, and that is a dear thing in todays world.
