I just ordered 2 of the MSI Herald-BE WI-FI 7 MAX (Wi-Fi 7, 802.11BE, Bluetooth 5.4, PCIe, Multi-Link Operation Technology, External Antenna) on Amazon for the 2 pc’s in my house that do not have WIFI cards on the motherboard, nor any WIFI solution available.
WIFI 7 is expensive and the above cards were CHEAP ($49.99 each) compared to other solutions available. Not a subject to pontificate on any further.
This upcoming work is part of my favorite stuff. Networking. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 only eclipsed by building a new desktop … which I very recently did.
Not only that, last year three of my kids built new pc’s and I helped them with building so … kind of a heady time. I also had updated my Rosewill case build with a new hard drive, and a new 4tb nvme and some additional fans to install and replace, and new cooler for my i7.
That part was OK, just not like great, cause I lost my love of that computer building the new ones with my kids, and also it was my new hard drive SOOOO NOISY and now my old one is NOISY TOOO, stacked together in the hard drive cage, ugggghh. I just wanted to do something more and less.
So my Be Quiet! case, it’s lovely, I love it to pieces. I like the Be Quiet Light Wing LX fans in the case and on my AMD processor. I like that I have a Ryzen 9 now, and a RTX 5060ti graphic card.
All lighter power use, though way more powerful than my old computer which is fully just my Emby Server now and I use it to play stuff from it on my 49″ Sony tv. Music and Movies and TV Shows.
