Lets just say, I have to yell at my monitor because my PS5 isn’t switching away from Windows when turned on from a Cold state.

Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t.

All in all it comes down to that AutoSwitch+ stupid software. It’s not normal with HDMI and Display Port in the mix.

I go back and forth with both devices. I have to manually switch to the PS5, or as of late the reverse is now happening more and more, I have to manually turn it to my Display Port more often than not.

My PS5 is usually turned OFF if I’m not using it, so say, when go to sleep, I turn it off.

I turn on my PC in the morning and I’m met with nothing displaying, the monitor is off or sleeping. It’s not sleeping because of Windows, Windows has been OFF since earlier the previous day. I had been using my PS5 last. But that PS5 powered down and the monitor did it’s thing.

So sometimes it had seemed to prefer my Display Port, but now it had an even worse problem, the pc was on a few days ago when I turned on the PS5 it switched automatically, and in order to get back to my pc I had to manually turn the monitor switching blah blah blah.

Then later on when on PS5 again, yes had to manually switch to it, suddenly it would switch back to my going to sleep pc. In the middle of a game mission.

Then I’d switch back and if I touched my mouse or keyboard it’d switch again any movement at all, but ONLY when it was in a lock screen state of sleep.

I have tried that when I initially turn on PS5, nothing will switch back to Windows by mouse or keyboard anything.

Why, why, why.

Why is the Display Port for my Windows machine check-marked in the sources, or reverse it’s the HDMI of the PS5 that is check-marked it’s either one or the other, but it changes randomly? Not consistent.

Last time I was overwrought with frustration it wasn’t even this bad. I’m crazed over it now.
