I’ve skimmed a book that I just came in contact with: “Blame it on the Brain?” by Edward T. Welch.
Basically, it covers several types of “illnesses” or “disorders”. One of them, of course, is ADD/ADHD. My beliefs of the Bible and my experiences personally contribute to how I read this information.
Basically, I’ll agree and disagree with it. All in all, ADD/ADHD is NOT a medical conditon on it’s own. There are distinctive weaknesses that someone may exibit if they “could be labeled ADHD”.
Human matrixes are to “blame” for the rise in “diagnosable ADHD”. The matrix of society, humanity education … technology … and more.
Sin is involved. Behaviour is important. So, the basic thing is, who’s “blaming” the brain for their actions? Maybe some people do, but it’s not [–the rest of this post seems to be missing for some reason I can’t figure on … I will try to put a real ending on this sometime soon. NOTE By: Me – June 30, 2005]
