I downloaded the new version of WP (1.5) and it’s very nice.
It’s simple to use, and can be complicated though to convert your older WP template too. I have thus changed my look here and have used the default Kubrick theme and changed it a bunch to start with.
In the install, I forgot to save my CSS file from the old WP 1.2 here, I then was able to snag it in Temporary Internet Files. I got it set up, and in moving some new coding into it with 1.5 functionality, something got very messed up and I couldn’t get it fixed, the layout was a horrid mess and I just scrapped it finally and this is what I came up with from the default theme as a base. I’m not done. I’ll redo the header very soon. I had just CSS color in there, but that looked really funky, so the .jpg image in there now looks better, though still funky, IMO.
Now I have the task of converting all my other installs to WP 1.5.
This also means I have the inspiration to finally get my old MT installs into WP, the ones that have been dormant for so long. 🙂
