Makes me feel stupid to say Late Self-Diagnosis for myself.
” ’19, 24, 27, 32, 41′ … Look back at my WHOLE life. My childhood, highschool…”
None of that competes with people at like me 57 figuring it out, or 65, or 79!
Diminishing returns past 50 years of age, I think.
Co-ADHD and Autistic diagnosis was only doable since 2022.
Our older than 50 lives are done for already.
Not dead, not done for really, just can’t go back to fix 40 years and on. Or 20 years and on, or 30 years and on.
Childhood diagnosis was impossible for me. Little shy white girl. Shy quiet white young lady. Introverted white female teen. etc. No possible diagnosis that would be right in the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s…. 2013 had DSM5 released. 2022 DSM5-TR
Psychiatry failed most females of the world in the 20th Century. Sad.
