Daughter and I made my cake and frosted it this afternoon.
What is it?
Something darkly horrid to make as a layer cake, but we did.
Black Magic Cake. To see the crumbs in the frosting? Can’t be helped.
My newer (for some years already) favorite frosting Vanilla Frosting from America’s Test Kitchen cookbook which we have.
But oh how decadent it will be (as long as the ants don’t find it.)
I have it all wrapped up in layers, and I mean LAYERS of plastic wrap to deter them.
