Migraine today which I started out with, but it wasn’t very painful until I spent some time outside in the sun and warmth of a June day. I overheat fast when I overheat and I am the only one that overheats in my family so early.
We got rid of a plant that was growing as a tree in the backyard. It’s not native, prickly and just lets be done with it. Space is nicer now.

My son that did that work did a great job.
He’s been helping me with my garden, which is nice. More work tomorrow.
I have a ton of rosemary to harvest. Oft-time is stays alive overwinter. I have two plants, and they are HUGE now.

I have two beefsteak tomato plants. They came with two main growths. OK well, that’s it for them, no more allowed.

I have cucumbers with a range of garden twine for them to climb.
I have one dill plant near the tomatoes.
I need to plant more. I have herbs in a barrel planter near the deck.
There are rabbits in our yard. Afraid of planting the wrong thing that they won’t let me grow to harvest.

Chives are perennial, I have onion chives and garlic chives. I should divide them some. They are going strong for some years now.
My barrel herbs are Parsley, from last year, Italian Oregano, Sage, Sweet Basil, and Thai Basil.
I have a Greek Oregano plant to put into another planter.
Husband bought a red sweet pepper and yellow one too.
I love red peppers, but hate trying to grow them, plus growing them, two plants aren’t enough for what we eat and we don’t buy yellow anyhow. I just like red myself. Anyhow never have ever harvested red peppers anyhow, something mutates them or they get decimated.
So besides the Rosemary needing desperate attention, my Lemon Balm needs harvested and cut down and pulled out of it’s encroaching. Then there is the mint that is everywhere.
Believe you me, I couldn’t grow mint for nothing. I tried and tried. Then bought a potted plant of it a few years ago. Everything stems from that.
It’s everywhere. I don’t mind some of it around where I don’t want to plant something else, but it gets so leggy and harvesting it seems not doable.
I have some small pieces in a planter, hopefully that will take and flourish then I’ll rip most of the other mint out entirely that is in my garden spaces.
Husband bought me plant food, but I can’t find it, someone moved it and doesn’t remember that they did. URG!
