My Amazon Vine shipment that should have arrived yesterday, languished in the carrier facility until 5:27pm when finally the packages were Out For Delivery and to be delivered by 10pm.
The evening wore on, my bedtime shifted to later and later (I needed help shifting because of Day Light Saving Time ending soon) but it really got me off kilter because Amazon kept up with saying yes, oh yes, you’ll get them today still.
I didn’t want the packages sitting in the rain that was supposed to start. All night long. I was worried.
So it was 10:10pm and Amazon stated Running Late, but we’ll be there.
10:30pm, I’m out of here. Goodnight.
So we have 4 packages: Out For Delivery. Where are they? I don’t know.
“Now expected October 30 – October 31” is how each package looks this morning. Out For Delivery for three days maybe?
So Amazon wants me to know “We’re very sorry your delivery is late. If you have not received your package by tomorrow, you can come back here the next day for a refund”
I had a late deal with my monthlies that would have worked that way, just this last week. The stuff came the next day. But case in point it was different, it never went Out For Delivery that day it should have.
I can’t get a refund for something I paid $0 for. There’s something though going on that is what kind of voodoo, what kind of mystery? It’s quizzical.
I’ve had package misery before, this is wacky. A lot of late lately and Out For Delivery over 14 hours at this point.
