Update on This Weblog

Post Published:

I’ll be putting political discussion on this site from now on. I have other blogs, but this one I’ve not done much with lately. I’m trying to dicotomize my blog-world properly and it’s pretty much that this one will be about politics and things out there and things about certain other things … and my other main blog will just be my normal family write about everything place, but that’s hard to describe as to what I mean.

I guess on some level, my main other blog is ME.

On another level THIS blog is the OTHER ME.

Both ME.

Just that the my main blog ME is the Wife/Mama/Homeschooling ME

and that THIS blog is the Wife/Me ME

Both of us are all of the above and below, but I need to try and output things differently. I put my “regular” thinking about things on my main blog all the time. THIS used to be my “main” blog in that it’s the first blog I ever started, on blogger with a blospot address. I had websites other places as well, and still do. I’ve been “online” since 1995, and had a “homepage” right away. So in some sense I was journaling online, but not daily or dated journaling until July 2002. It was a format that suddenly made sense to utelize and since then I’ve pretty much instituted blogging as my main sites, with very few static pages and absolutely ignore the static content anyhow, meaning to make it ALL into blogging. It’s so much easier to make a site with blogging tools. I mean, the truth is, I love to hand code, and still can do that with WP, for instance. It’s just that the site structure is suited towards DYNAMIC CONTENT which makes it a better site, right? Right.

There will be some overlap between “here” and “there” and some “crossposting” maybe now, but basically the economic/political/learning-style/VS/INTP/ENTP/Overexcitabilities/Multiple Intelligences/Gifted/Hyper/Hypo/and such will be HERE! 🙂

ME in all instances is a woman, white –of a diverse country background but in America for many, many generations, politically Jeffersonian economically, paleo-conservative but overall the BIGGIE is Christian Agrarian from which all of life flows. Reformed Presbyterian, PostMillennial, Nice-Reconstructionist-flavour, and I consider that TRUTH is in the center of all things. That TRUTH is spherical, not a line. Left and Right are positions on a line and I do not seek to be “on a line or any side of anything” I am in the middle, the sphere of TRUTH. Which is only one place, there are not position inside of that to take sides on. Only outside of truth are their sides, and they are the gray-area things. These things are fewer to me than to many others, so if you would take issue with me over something, consider that I have a persepctive as being intellectually analytical of things and being a seeker of truth I perceive things in deep ways that not all people can see. I wish to be able to describe what I see in terms that others can see, but that’s just not always possible. So this is where debate always comes. When people disagree with my views. 🙂

Ask before yelling. Wait before yelling. Be kind, be thoughtful. Do not yell at me, take time to defend your own view against mine, but not AT me, just my view, the idealology, not ME. 🙂 I am all the above things that I described myself as, but that doesn’t give license to attack my personhood as flawed. Want to change my mind? Then show me the idea and the reasoning as to why I should, but don’t get mad at me, or yell or expect me to accept your idea as truth. It must meet my spherical reasoning and perceiving and most of all be held up under a Biblical magnifying glass to deduce yes or no.

Some other things:

Spelling: I’m a decent speller, used to be at any rate. When typing I am less of a speller. So don’t get mad at me for spelling errors. Picky people are annoying. If it’s there and needs fixed, eventually I’ll see it and fix it, or the article will go deep into archives and never be noticed, so then it won’t matter 😉

Grammer: I’m good and bad at it. I’m not purposing to use good grammer. I am not trying to write with bad grammer. I just write. If I were to paper-publish then I’d have more thought put towards that with an Editor. I am the Writer and Editor here, so remember that.

Style: I just write, as I’ve said above. My style is just how I write. My style. No one elses. I write from inspiration, that comes from living, things I see, things I hear, things I do, things I read, things others write. I am better at reforming than creating from a blank canvas. I see writing as being reform work. If I have anything to write I will open up my book, website, or get a piece of paper and WRITE IT. I don’t open something to write on if I have nothing to write already. Sometimes that is an ethereal thing. I will open the Write section of one of my sites and sit there KNOWING that I FEEL like writing, but don’t know what it is I am wanting to write, then just wait … and it comes out suddenly, magically. 🙂

Software:This site runs on the Word Press personal publishing system. It’s free and full of goodies. GNU is good. I started using WP when MT changed their license structure. I’m going that rout with everything I can. I now also use FireFox for a browser instead of IE, so that’s what I build my sites for — true compliance, not trying to make it look nice in IE. I also use Thunderbird for email instead of Outlook 2000 as I was using for years. I will be changing to another OS platform eventually too. GNU is the spirit of all things good and sharing.

Share and Share Alike: I share my words with you, but that’s not so you can rip me apart here or elsewhere. I can’t say MY IDEAS are property that is copywrited. Though it is to a degree. I mean, what I say you CAN do stuff with, but if I don’t wish you too, you should respect my wishes, as I would the same with yours. So that means, you see something here you like, great! Tell me and link to it, trackback or ping, send me the link to you. Don’t just “take it” Surely don’t take it and put YOUR name on it. That’s plain mean. It’s that I share my thoughts and just say, you may adopt them if you like, but credit me, OK?

Same thing goes if you DON’T like what I say sometimes (rare as that will be, right?) Ha. Anyway, don’t take it and rip it and point fingers at me and stuff. Be nice. Credit me and link and say your stuff nicely against my words, not against me.

Be nice to me. I’ll be nice to you. I”ll be nice and firm and toweringly vibrant if you are mean to me though. 🙂 So it’s not exactly share and share alike, though that’s only if YOU don’t share alike. You’d be the messie-upper of it all in that case.
