She is quite small, that is a major zoom/close-up in with my phone camera.
I ran into her web earlier today, going between the house/climbing rose bush and our Japanese Maple tree. I felt the tug of the line and back off instantly as she lowered quickly to the ground in front of me. I was glad to see who’s web it was and that it was Gasteracantha cancriformis! I hadn’t seen any around this year before now. I went to get my phone, and couldn’t find her until just now, much later.
