New Windows and Siding

Kitchen Window done, siding work ongoing now.

Windows were installed on Monday and finished on Tuesday.

We do have to foam fill the sides and top, and put additional casing all around the windows on the inside (except the kitchen window, it’s completely installed in and out.)

Master Bathroom window. Old one was a picture window (didn’t open), all I ever wanted was a double-hung window here and all the other windows being the same too. They weren’t double-hung.

These windows are triple pane, .25 U-factor (4)

A super duper upgrade to what was before. We could hardly move the windows to open them, and these open like slicing through cold butter with a hot knife.

So once all the casing is in, we’ll paint all that and the molding, white enamel.

Siding is James Hardie hardieplank. It’s what we had before but from 1997. Yuck.

The house siding will be painted with Sherwin Williams – Mineral Deposit (SW 7652)
