I had a migraine on Monday the 5th of August, but just “a migraine” nothing horrid about it, if that makes sense.
The next day I woke up and felt great all day.
Wednesday morning I woke up and it was a test of my humanness being alive. Even so, I had coffee, and decided to drink water right away, and then was in the kitchen and bam! Disinformation flooding my brain, light freak out stuff like I was a classic vampire suddenly, It was misery in a second. So much more than I can describe.
I took Excedrin at that point, tried to watch a TV show in my office, but it was really hurting and getting worse and worse.
I kept thinking of how it was when I first read the two Eragon and Eldest books that were out, I had a raging migraine that wouldn’t stop, I laid in bed and read both those books over that 2 to 3 days of massive pain.
It wasn’t fun, it was me just trying to be able to focus on something else for awhile. Distraction from the pain. It’s more like co-existing with the pain.
So I ended up feeling sicker than sick yesterday, just impossible to sit anywhere, so I laid down, every so often I would get up and pause my media playing and lay there trying to sleep, but mostly not. I felt so bad, I was a total mess, water, water, water, a little milk, a piece of cheese. Spoon of ice cream (Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food) yuck! That did me in badly.
So dinner was ready (daughter made it) I thought I could eat, put some of the curry spiced yellow rice on my plate, a few bites, and I ran from the table.
Fully ill, projectile holy crap where did this all come from!
I felt empty, took a shower.
I felt so much better, but dang my head still hurt so bad!
I ended up putting on music and crashing after that shower. Woke after midnight, took Advil and drank some water, had some cheese. Went to sleep again and woke up right before 6am.
I felt so much better, but weak and sore.
A big job of eating and drinking to feel better today.
Add my carpal problems in here, I have to have wrist braces on when sleeping, supposed to use big ones, but have been using these little ones I had already when I feel bad.
I have had no icky feelings today, until typing this, after awhile my left hand was reacting, just weird crap. While my right is typing just fine.
I hate this crap.
At any rate that Migraine was the worst variety, I hate throwing up, I hate it, and hardly ever do in illness, it stands out when I do, that is a fact.
