I’m trying WeTrakr, since Trakt went to V3 is highly horrid to use anymore. Yes things track properly there, but oh the ways that they messed up the UI and how it works is just amazing how fast it went to shit.
Problem is when I did it, already Trakt didn’t let people link to the site to glean the info. Now we have to download data in an ftp file, then upload it to WeTrakr import. Mine worked, but something or things didn’t work … I can’t find what they were, now. So then I can’t get the Netflix syncing to work. I wish I could. I want to see if watching anywhere will sync it. But since linking Netflix in Chrome to limestream properly, nothing new will sync.
I want to get this working, just some stuff seems annoying. I liked how trakt has a universal trakt scrobbler plugin made for it that worked fine all along. Trakt has syncing that works, but just like WeTrakr it’s not great, and Universal Trakt scrobbler plugin was great until some app changed api in some way, but eventually that would be figured out.
There also isn’t a native emby plugin, but a user had changed the Jellyfin plugin from WeTrakr so that it will work on Emby. Just have to download it and put it in Emby plugins on one’s server.
There are others to try, sites to scrobble: HBO, Amazon, and Crunchyroll.
