My new ear “buds” I really love them. Dusty looking after a full day (first day) July 4, 2026.
I asked for them, my birthday is 2 weeks away, Costco has these on sale ($40 off until July 19th.)
I was pressing my hubby about them since they could be sold out if he waited too many days to get them, and then of course, I wanted them early.
He let me have them on July 4th morning. 2 weeks before my birthday exactly. I always had treated the 4th as the first day of a weeks long celebration.
It only because July used to be an exciting month and since getting married I have to share it with my hubbies birthday, but I have a love language of receiving gifts, so of course my birthday and Christmas are my favorite holidays.
That is no joke. I’m serious as all get out that is my love language, it’s a weird one, sure, but it’s how I know I am loved, when a THOUGHTFUL gift is given to me.
These headphone things are wireless and sit on the ear, like floating speakers. I can wear them all day with NO PAIN! Amazing!
Shokz Open Fit 2 SE – Good sound, using app for them you can boost the bass, very, very good. Battery lasts all day, even with me mostly playing music all the time, and a few phone calls.
Husband reports very clear voice from me on phone calls with him using them.
Button on top of the rectangle piece that sits on your ear, just inside the top area, it’s secure and painless, easy to find the button if you are getting a phone call.
It’s a multi-use button. I haven’t used it for music yet. If a phone call comes in music is paused automatically, answer call by pressing button on headphone, and when done, I just let my hubby hang up, music resumes automatically.
I’m supposing pressing the button would end a call and auto resume the music. Well I can say I did use the button yesterday to pause my music, just to be sure it did. It did. I don’t know about volume yet.
I used to try to use some Samsung ear buds Buds Live and Beans, and I gave them both away to my kids. I can’t wear them, pain, so anyhow I’m not used to controlling volume like that on ear piece. I have a Level-U headset, controls on the collar, which make sense, I just hate using it if not using it for music, calls and notifications went to it and I had no clue since they weren’t in my ears.
I could wear them, but didn’t like how my ears felt, though not as bad as other products of the past.
I’m very jazzed that I can wear my new Shokz with no trouble at all. Hurray!
