I love beef and chicken and turkey.
I love Filet Mignon steaks
I love a soft wonderful roast from the crockpot (with lots of gravy too!)
I love a good brisket.
I love whole chickens, roasted, herbed; or rotisserie, Lemon Pepper is my favorite.
I like different ways of using deboned Chicken breasts.
I like chicken legs in a variety of ways to use.
Turkey oven roasted is delightful. So many ways to use leftovers.
I love mac-n-cheese, but can’t stand box variety anymore. I love homemade mac-n-cheese baked in the oven and with a buttery crunchy top.
Vegetables aren’t my forte. Peas are barely digestible unless in a cream sauce with crunchies on top. Carrots should be in long pieces, soft, with butter, salt and a little honey after cooking.
Broccoli is too bitter and just plain horrible drowned and tossed in soy sauce is the only way I can stand it.
Baby Broccoli (Broccolini) is good, but needs help with sesame oil etc.
Green beans should be long, thin, and cooked too al dente sort of. Salt and butter make them fantastic if they are good beans. They also shine with various flavor treatments.
–Bad beans are woody or too squishy or even chalky. UNEDABLE
I love spaghetti, I love meatballs, I love the meatloaf I make. I love lasagna, I love chicken parmesan. I love ravioli.
I like fajitas. I like tacos more. I LOVE ENCHILADAS.
Uncured Sunday Bacon is my all-time eatable meat.
Hamburgers should have cheddar melted on top, bleu cheese dressing, bacon, tomato slice, and a piece of green lettuce. On a bun, of course.
I really like different kinds of subs (hoagies) but specialize in liking the Italian the most.
I use plain rice ramen with my own concoctions. I also really like Udon noodles.
I eat fried egg, but it has to be cooked just right for me. 1-egg omelet, scrambled, hard-boiled.
When having dinner, I will sometimes chew and chew and chew near the end and then guiltily have to spit it out and gross myself out and it’s not a fun time. Nearly always happens with steaks or roasts that aren’t on my favorite list.
I like rice a lot. I also love potatoes, white, golden, sweet… Mashed Potatoes, instant mashed potatoes too, fries, baked, hashed etc. Sweet Potatoes make an excellent morning hash. Some like a baked sweet potato, I am not one who does. I do like them mashed with cinnamon, brown sugar, and pineapple with marshmallow on top.
I eat slowly. I always did when I was little and it’s just how I am.
I hate cilantro. I don’t like fish. I detest sea food.
I object to eating Veal. Poor baby cows, so mistreated.
I don’t eat enough vegetables. It’s one of my great failures.
If something goes wrong with any of the above food, a meltdown is imminent.
