Sourdough discard recipe …. I let the flour, water, and discard ferment for many hours and put it in the fridge overnight. It was really risen even much more in the morning.
The actual cake part is very delicious, soft and not crummy like normal cupcakes can be.
My daughter said it was like bread. Definitely a sweet bread but she wasn’t seeming to like it too much.
My son liked them. Chocolate, what’s not to love?!!!
I liked them. Soft, delicious, but my starter is whole grain, so they looked very whole grain white flour combo. Didn’t taste bad, actually very delicious.
I said that next time I won’t long ferment like that. And have a white flour discard to use by then.
