• Google Blogsearch

Google Blogsearch link Google owns blogger, we of cyberspace all know that, right? So here’s a post to archive the link to the blogsearch page. It can be accessed there at the link above, or on blogspot pages, blogger’s home page, etc. My first blog was a blogger one. That was before they were owned…

  • Stryper Reborn

Stryper came out with a new releast mid-August this year, just over a month ago, well a month and a half ago. I wasn’t aware of it until late last week, when I ran into the CD while flipping through CD’s in the S section at Fry’s, actually seeking another band. I guess it was…

  • Patrick Henry Was Right

www.chalcedon.edu/articles/article.php?ArticleID=176 Good article. I agree with the article, and only want to note the exception I take: I have deeply held to the founders beliefs as long as I can remember, something taught me right in the earliest years and my voracious reading in my elementary days formed the fullest thoughts, States Rights, and the…

  • Salty Dogma

Interesting … if you haven’t seen it yet. Article dated August 6, 2005 Worldmag. This quote is in response here: Sept 10 Worldmag Mailbag: I have enjoyed listening to U2 for nearly two decades (“Salty dogma,” Aug. 6). So many of U2’s lyrics are sprinkled with redemptive themes, but I always had the sense that…

  • Can you see it?

    Can you see it?

I was lying in bed watching TWC and this is what got me to get up and get going so I could post this. Can anyone see it? Take a guess, or if you do see it be sure and tell me you know. Comment please! Only real people with a related to this post…

One response to “Can you see it?”

    1. Marysue (Maisy) Avatar

Well since NO ONE ELSE seem to want to post a guess, even though I gave a big hint, but not a particularly CLOSE TO THE ANSWER hint, I’ll plainly just answer this myself.

Explanation: I was in bed, awaking from the night, the TV was on there in the bedroom on The Weather Channel, and that map above was shown on the “every 8 minutes” round robin. It popped right out at me, what I saw is evident once you know, but it was evident to ME without it being known by anyone else, as far as I know.

Look at the mid-western states — there, plain as day lies Pooh Bear on his back, his ears are in Nebraska and he’s stretched out towards the East North East. Yes, stretched out of shape longwise, but still plainly Pooh Bear.

Maybe y’all don’t see it, or can see it now that I’ve told you about it, but still don’t consider it much of anything, sorry if that’s so. It was such a plain as day interesting thing, it inspired me to find the picture on TWC website and post it here, hoping that someone or two would consider it worth a comment at least. 🙄

  • Sahara is not the book

Sahara My rating: 1 out of 5 My husband and I bought the DVD for “Sahara” the other day, and finally watched it for the first time this afternoon. To make it clear, we did not see it in the theatre or in any way previously. I wasn’t thrilled with the purchase, but my husband…

  • Chief Justice Roberts?

So Mr. Bush defies those he might not even know. Some of us out here do not particularly like Roberts, who he earlier nominated to The Bench. Confirmation Hearings haven’t even started yet. So now that the vacancy of Chief Justice is available to fill, he goes and nominates Roberts for THAT position? What is…

  • I’m recording my LP’s into digital format

My sound card came via UPS today. It’s an Audigy 2 Platinum eX. I have several LP tracks ripped into the computer now. Mr. Mister, Heart, and Bad English. I started with some Tesla, but I’m going to re-do those couple, and do more of the album. I need to clean it, and also know…

  • LP’s arrived

Two of my “music” eBay purchaces came in the mail today! 🙂 These are the first “LP” purchase I’ve done in many years. My last would have been in 1989 or 1990, when I switched to buying CD’s. It’s nearly like when I was a teen, and I brought home a new record, only these…
