   I have a Mac and I’m having trouble downloading songs from itune to the Mix stick.
   Macs can not use the Windows Media Player that came with the mix stick. How do we make this happen? It shows all the songs on the mix stick of you open it up on the computer (ma4 or a mpeg4) – nothing plays. Help…

   Use iTunes to create an audio CD of the tracks you want. You can then use Windows media player to rip the audio CD tracks to MP3

   How do you get this to work for macs i can’t get anything to work? can you just drag a song in to the icon on the desktop and it be on the mix stick or no? completely lost??????

   I have a mac also and tried to download music through I tunes. Some how I have downloaded my entire library! Can it be erased or written over? And how do I download selected songs only?

   I just bought the Disney Mix Stick for my daughters Birthday and I am having no luck with hearing the music I think I have downloaded. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong.

      You must let us know what platform of computer (Win XP, Vista, Mac, etc.) you are using with the Mix Stick ; What sort of music files (.wma, .mp3, etc.) are you using …

   hey how do u get songs on to ur disney mix stick i have had it for months and still cant get songs on it i only went to WAL-MART!!!! so then i just got a chip so wat ever i just need help on trying to get songs onto it okay know so who ever knows how please leave a comment saying how to do it thnk u so much!!! wait i am only [i]##[/i] [young] years old […. ] [ edited by blog owner (commenter’s personal information) ]

      If you have a Mix Stick you need to have a PC, maybe a MAC (I don’t use one, just know that some people have reported sucess using one.) You need to have the songs in .mp3 format, or .wma format.

      Either use something like Windows Media Player to Sync with your Mix Stick
      or just use the Mix Stick as a USB drive (find it in My Computer) and then drag and drop the songs onto it.

      If you have a memory card (SD) you can do either of the above if your Mix Stick recognizes it … you can access that card on the computer in MY COMPUTER if using Windows XP, for instance.

      Also if you have a Card Reader attached to your PC you can put the SD card into that and drag/drop the songs directly onto the card, then put it into the Mix Stick.

      I admit that I can’t help you with the SD card, since my daughters Mix Stick won’t recognize SD cards at all. There are replies on another thread on my blog here, with more information you might like to read for additional help.

      You can drag .mp3 or .wma files directly onto the mix stick (when connected to computer usb port, by viewing the mix stick as a window) or it’s SD card as well. It won’t play any other format than .mp3 or .wma. You can also use Windows Media Player to sync music to the mix stick, but not i-tunes.

   Hi. Im having problems with my Disney Mix Stick Media Player. The screen just stopped working. The screen is shaking blue and I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. Everything else still works, even the music. What do or should I do?

    SD Card Recognition

    I had a really hard time getting the file open and after a lot of trial and error, realized that the card wasn’t working with the mix stick. I’ve since learned that it’s because it’s a 4 gig card and the mix stick only supports up to 1 gig. If you’re struggling to get songs on the mix stick, try removing the SD card and insert the stick by itself. Hope this helps.
